Big Weekend

Just came back from Arte funktional 2012 at the Vernon Performing Art Center.  There was a great opening held Thursday night and the show is well run with some wonderful art. Helene has some beautiful ceramic  bowls that she created especially for the show. They are gorgeous !


 
These are 3 of her pieces. My pictures don't do justice to them . You really have to see them to experience how great they are . The show runs until 4 PM on Sunday.

Here are some of the pieces I have in the show.

Those of you that know me as a coach and educator must find this a bit hard to comprehend. I owe a lot of the credit to Helene who has encouraged my creativity. Who knows what we are capable of unless we actually try?

    You've done a wonderful job beautifying nature's mistakes on trees...well done, Glenn. However, interesting that in your last picture here you caption it, "Standing beside a Burl bowl", while you're standing amidst all of Helene's beautiful jewelry and art work...hmmm. Keep up the great work, Art Man.
